I’ve been playing this Wordz for many years, and I wish I hadn’t done the last update. I was probably several months or maybe even years behind on updating, but I still wish I hadn’t. The screen is smaller, the swipe time lags, so much that you have to swipe a word more than once. It’s terrible now. It’s taken all the enjoyment out of the game.

good idea but user experience is drain all fun

It used to be fun and addictive but now there are so much ads that you cannot even see the results properly. And they remove the bar showing you your progress in your current level so you don’t even know where you stand. Finally, don’t ever change device because there is no way to transfer your progress on the new device. Very very disappointing updates.

Been playing this for a couple of years now. I play it before sleep to get my mind off of other concerns and on waking to shake the groggies. Ads are no longer a problem. Suggestions: 1. Some words are way too obscure or archaic, while a number of valid and more common words are not accepted. Developer needs to analyze and update. 2. Font for word list on left side is bad. Cannot read on Iphone. Font in previous version was better. Keep up the good work!

We used to play this game with Arabic Language. Unfortunately in the new updates a lot of languages been added and Arabic language has been removed!

Love this game! I literally spend hours playing it. However, the connected games stopped working a couple of days ago. Only the training games work now. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and restarted my iPad, but none of that helped. Look forward to seeing the game return!

i paid for my name to be changed twice but it did not work. i have sent two emails but no response. it is not about cost but it is about expecting to get what you pay for.

So when i put in the word and i get 100 points after the game is done it doesn't give me any point and same thing for my grandma that is #1 in Italy for this game and she is very sad about it could you please switch it back to when it could give u points

In the new version of Wordz! The old version, you had the opportunity to see the words you missed, and thus enriching your vocabulary; why on earth did you take that out in the new version? I truly do not enjoy this new version at all, and so do a number of my friends!!!

This used to be a good game that took up most of my tablet screen with bold and colorful letters. Now it is much smaller with thin, dull letters and a much harder to navigate play area. I’m looking for a new game.

The size of the game board is much smaller. Is there any way to change the size?

Used to love this game. Paid for the pro version but I am periodically shown as a guest/new player at level 1. Very frustrating as I contact them, they fix it for a day & then soon after am shown as a guest again!

I used to love this game. I switched to paid version. Even then I saw the advertisement banner but I didn’t care. At least I did not have to watch it. I never saw the other gamers and who the winner is, it is always loading state after game is finished. Well, I continued playing despite all these. But today the game is offline and when I try to refresh, it is opening gambling games in App Store! What the heck are you doing? I was a paid pro user! I want my money back. You are terrible

Ads ruined it. They even started popping-up during the middle of a game. What a shame. I’ve noticed hardly anyone plays anymore.

Great when it works. Unlike like real boggle, the boards are curated and not random.

What's the use of rating and writing a review for this game if no one is monitoring this site? If is extremely annoying to constantly have that pop up. Or could this be a ploy to have everyone that's annoyed by the pop up to Stop playing this game because it might just work with me.

But ads are a huge issue. And the game freezes a lot during an ad, where you cannot see your score. Used to be a lot of fun—-played it all the time. With the problems as of late, I play it very sparingly. Too many other games to play with far-less problems.

Update: I’m going to stop playing this game. The ads are so long after every game that you don’t get to see your results and then miss a good portion of the next game. Absolutely obnoxious and inexcusable!!! I’ve been playing this game forever and enjoy the challenge but the amount of adds is overwhelming and it also gets in the way of reviewing the game results. Some adds even open up my browser and force me to close and reopen the game to continue. One other comment is that I purchased pro but now on a new iPad there is no way to load the pro profile I created. Listen up creators. I’m not the only one commenting on the ads shortcoming. You will start losing players if you can’t reign it in a bit.

This is an extremely fun game but I can’t play anymore because they run ads that run into the next round. This causes you to a) not see where you ranked because you miss the results screen because you are stuck on an ads you cannot get out of and b) miss 5 to 10 seconds of the next round for the same reason. If they monitored the ads for say a 10 second max, then this would solve the problem

Through all the glitches this game has had, my wife and I have enjoyed playing together. It’s been fun, friendly competition. Today, my wife was playing. I was not. She asked if I was playing. I was showing up in the results for the games she was playing — several games in a row. I joined from my iPad. The game correctly reported my results, on both of our iPads, without showing a second me in the results. I stopped playing and shut the game down. My name kept showing up in the results for my wife’s games, with varying scores and rankings. How many people we seem to be playing against are real? How many are computer generated fakes? We’re done with this game.

This game is totally screwed up now.

This used to be a great game. Then there were endless ads, and often they last so long you don’t get to see where you placed. There used to be so hundreds of players, but there are only a few now.

Can’t see the results because of the game ads popping up.

I like this game I really do but it has so much glitches that’s true. So if there’s anything that you can do is resolve some the issues- unknown

Without the adds playing and preventing game results displaying this would be 5 stars!

I agree with the other reviewers. I would love to buy this game to get rid of the ads because they ruin what used to be a really fun game. Unfortunately it does not appear you can buy it. I missed all of the results and the beginning of the next game due to the ad.

My wife and I have been playing Wordz for years and continue to enjoy it. We have recommended it to friends and family. When switching phones all it took was a quick email and they transferred all of our standing to the new phone. But what happened recently? All of the sudden all the players have disappeared. Where only a month ago we played against 50 or more players no it is 15 or less. What happened?

Love this game, but the ads between game are super glitchy and intrusive. Some change the sound settings and make the game crazy loud, while others make it so you can’t exit from the ad, but instead take you to the App Store, and you can’t see your score. Over and over it happens. Please fix!!

Unless you buy the pro version, the ads are too intrusive. At the end of a game while waiting for the next one to start, some ads are 30 seconds long. By the time the ad stops, the results have posted and the next round has started. I had purchased the pro version but, I uninstalled the app. When I installed again I was unable to recover pro. I have also noticed that there aren’t as many people playing as there was in the past. I guess I’ll join the permanently uninstalled group.

This is the BEST game! The only issue is a) it has too many ads and b) whenever they play an ad while your volume is off, it will glitch and turn you volume back up and then you have to close the app and open it again.

This used to be my favorite game until I got a new iPad and had to reload the game. In spite of paying the fee (a new fee is required for every new device and re-load) I am forced to wait for a full page ad to run between each game. Some of the ads are 30 seconds long which completely interferes with the game. I am disgusted that the company made a decision to maximize profits at the expense of the users. Nobody should purchase this game.

Used to be waaaaay better! Wish I never updated... I also play a Russian version of this game and what drives me crazy is the fact that legit words are not accepted but slang and made up words are!! Hate it!!

Pop up ads are ruining game. I even removed app and reloaded in the chance that may help. It didn’t. I lost my ranking. Very annoying.

Constant ad timers regardless of whether or not the round is being played. Always on ad timer. Pop ups. Redirects.

The recent upgrade ruined the app. Full page ads pop up and you can't get rid of them. I am deleting my app. They ruined it. DO NOT UP GRADE

Used to be a fun app. Now, even after purchasing Pro, there's still an ad banner across the top during game play and a 3-18 second video ad during game results. Considering this is a timed game, with 20 seconds between games if your connection is decent, this is not useable any more. Did my purchase mean nothing? Are the makers so desperate for revenue that they don't care to make this playable? When I got on here to write this review, I see the makers now offer a Wordz 2. Maybe that's why this game is now inundated with ads - to pay for the development of their next app? Don't waste your money on this one. Update: After the latest bug fix, this app has gotten worse, if possible. It used to be that I was spared the low banner ad if I played a solo game, but now, and especially with my smaller screen, the add is displayed across the letters. Now I have to guess if the letter is a D or a P. What a joke and frustrating experience. After using this app for almost 10 years, I deleted it from my device. I would not recommend anything from this developer. Really, how could they think that after buying the full version that I would enjoy clicking through ads on a timed game? There are other enjoyable and well made word apps out there so I don’t recommend sticking with Fugo.

Really just want a game where I can compete against myself. Don’t need to be social. Don’t want to wait 50 seconds for the next round.

Really, pop up ads DURING game play?! It’s bad enough I PAID for this game and every update wipes out my purchase and my profile but f’ing ads during the game is enough. Please just update Wordz 2 for iOS 11!

Used to be a fun game but...... Update: I have now been getting these annoying scam pop ups that my iPhone/ iPad has 4 damaging viruses and so forth. This is not cool. I had to delete this game??

Most recently they've started popping up some ads mid-game. You have to hit OK which is supposed to take you to some website but thankfully does not. Still wastes about 5 sec of your time, and along with 3 sec freeze when ads change is very frustrating. Unforgivable for an app I spent money on already. Update: Ads have recently gotten much worse. Some games I can hardly play because ads keep popping up. Even when they don't pop up, the always visible ads at the top pause the game for several seconds many times during the game, messing up words as you type. I used to like playing this game, now it is an exercise in frustration. I bet some company bought them out and decided to maximize profits by maximizing ads, not realizing they will lose their only valuable asset, the player base.

Still with the ads that interrupt the game. Can't believe no one else complains about this. At the risk of repeating myself, I really like this game, but for $2.99, shouldn't the ads go away? Really? Full screen ads that disrupt the game? What was it that I paid for, actually?

It's a fun game, but the loading of the ads causes the app to temporarily freeze and become non-responsive for up to 20 seconds at a time. Also, some ads generate pop-up alerts, which you can't close without clicking "ok", which launches the App Store.

I've been waiting for this since scramble got stupid. Worth it for the lame ads and poor finger sensitivity. Would pay for a free version. I love it!!!

I'm sick of seeing the same d--- long Taco Bell ad at the end of every game. It lasts longer than the time between the game and the time the scores are posted so I don't even have time to see the scores.

I updated to latest version today and it lost my profile and pro status. I was able to restore pro status but not the profile. I enjoy the game though so I guess it's worth losing my achievements. Knocked off a star because of that.

This used to be a very relaxing game to play. Now, like everyone else here, with the update I lost my profile and became "guest" at Level 1. But that isn't the worst part. I was able to restore my "Pro"status, which I paid for so that I would have to extra 10 seconds, but it meant nothing. Now, you can have the 10 seconds if you agree to watch the ads in between the round and the list of makeable words. Although I PAID for this privilege I still am forced to watch the ads. Additionally, it is harder to see the board. They tweaked the colors just enough to make it hard to discern if you already made a word.i I'm going to abandon this game and find another similar game that is les annoying. I wrote this at the beginning of December, 2015. Since then, by communications through the game, my profile was restored, with my level. Also, the administrator confirmed I had " Pro" and reassured me that I shouldn't be getting the full page ads and that this would be fixed with an update. Really lovely customer service. HOWEVER...I opened the game tow days ago to find myself back at level one, without Pro, with full page ads. I give up!

I don't know why this is happening again. The first time I was irritated but now I'm getting really upset. I love this game but will probably end up deleting it soon and requesting a refund. I also noticed that all the previous reviews that followed your Dec. 9 "update" have also disappeared. What's up?? Please fix it to stay.
